              Terra Ridge is a luxury condominium community located in Coralville, Iowa between Highway 965 and 12th Avenue in Coralville and just south of Oakdale Blvd, consisting of 61 units (11 single family homes and 26 duplexes). The residents of the community consist of families and individuals from the educational and business community who have chosen to enjoy a comfortable, maintenance-free lifestyle.

 

 

                             The luxury condominium homes are nestled within a natural wooded area surrounded by a perfect mixture of city conveniences and a quiet country setting and yet with an occasional touch that reminds one of Iowa.

 

 

      

 

Our homes all come with 3 or 4 season porches and many of them have geothermal heating and cooling systems. Throughout the community there are parking areas to accommodate our members' guests.

 

Our homes are priced from $280,000 to $440,000 and range from 2800 sq. feet to 4000 sq. feet. of finished space. Terra Ridge is located on land that was once a horse farm and is approximately a mile and a half from Kate Wickham Elementary School, Van Allen Elementary School, and North Central Junior High School.

 

Terra Ridge is located about 15 miles from the Eastern Iowa Regional Airport which is easily accessible either by driving north on Highway 965 or using the Interstate system which adjoins the nearby Coral Ridge Mall.  This airport is serviced by United, American, Delta, Allegiant,  and a few other smaller airlines. 

 

 

     Terra Ridge is conveniently located about two miles from the Coral Ridge Mall, the second largest shopping mall in Iowa.  The mall has five nationally-known department stores: Dillards, Younkers, JCPenney, Sears, and Target.  It also is the home of Best Buy, Scheels, and Barnes and Noble. There are numerous restaurants in or near the Coral Ridge Mall, including a number of chain restaurants such as Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden, Chiles,  and Red Lobster. The mall is also the home of ten movie theatres.  Click here to see what is playing.  A number of other malls are in the area as well and provide homes for Walmart, Kohls, Lowe's, Gordmans, Petco, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Michaels and T. J. Maxx.  A new high-end development - the Coral Galleria - is also planned for the area. There are also numerous chain hotels and motels in the vicinity.  For yogurt lovers, Ghurtie's is within walking distance on the corner of Oakdale Blvd. and 12th Avenue,  as is Falbo's pizza, and about one half mile from Terra Ridge is a coffee shop, Capanna,  at the intersection of Oakdale Blvd. and Highway 965.  About three miles away is the beautiful new Coralville Public Library, opened in 2008, at the corners of 12th and 5th Street. and the adjoining Coralville Center for the Performing Arts, opened in August, 2011.

 

      For those looking for recreation, there are numerous hiking and biking trails, one of which begins  in Terra Ridge and easily links to the 9 mile Coral Ridge to North Liberty bike trail. 

 

 

Within two miles of Terra Ridge is the Brown Deer Golf course, which some consider to be one of the most challenging  courses in the State of Iowa.  For those into fitness training, a number of health clubs are close by, including Core Fitness and Body & Balance.

 

Terra Ridge is also located without a few short miles of the Coralville Reservoir and Lake MacBride, the premier boating, fishing, and outdoor swimming facility in the immediate area.  The "res" also has numerous hiking trails in the vicinity. And, just a bit further off of Mehaffey Bridge Road in North Liberty is the University of Iowa MacBride field campus which also offers numerous hiking  and cross country ski trails, and for members of the Hawkeye Sailing Club, access to the sailing fleet.

 

 Driving Directions:

 

          Jessica Lane is the principal roadway within Terra Ridge, and it is in the shape of a horseshoe. Thus, driving directions vary somewhat depending upon whether one comes from the east or the west.

 

           From the East: Take 1st Ave. or 12th Ave. in Coralville north to Oakdale Blvd. Turn left on Oakdale Blvd. and proceed to Oakdale Road.  Turn left.  Proceed about 300 yards and turn right onto Jessica Lane.  If you are looking for Lindsay Ct.  skip the first Jessica Lane turn. Rather, proceed on Oakdale Rd. an additional  250 yards and turn right on the western end of Jessica Lane. Proceed about 30 feet and turn right onto Lindsay Ct.

 

           From the West: Take Highway 965 north about 1 mile north of Coral Ridge mall. Turn right onto Oakdale Blvd. Proceed about 1 mile and just past the Oakdale Campus of The University of Iowa, turn right onto Oakdale Rd. Proceed about an eighth of a mile around a bend, pass the Lantern Park nursing home, and then turn left onto Jessica Lane. If you are looking for Lindsay Ct., then about 30 feet after you turn, turn right onto Lindsay Ct.
